Games I own
These are the Street Fighter games that I own myself. By the screenshots, it might look a bit like I'm no good at the games, but that's just because I had to stop playing for a few seconds to take the screenshots!

Super Street Fighter II Turbo - CD32 Super Street Fighter II : Turbo - Amiga CD32
This version of Super Street Fighter II Turbo is the closest version to the arcade around. The characters are full size, the backgrounds are gorgeous and colourful, and the music is CD quality. You can do all the moves, plus new Super moves, and you can choose the colour of the character's costume when you select them. This is also the first game where you can fight Akuma (and choose to be him with a special code). The CD32 has a really cool controller too, with the directional pad, six buttons and the start button, so you can do ALL the moves! And the coolest thing is the intro animation, where Cammy slides across the screen and pokes her tongue out. :p
This is the version I play most when I'm at home, because it's got huge graphics and looks great on the big TV (and very sharp too, through S-Video), and pumps through the stereo and subwoofer.
Super Street Fighter II : The New Challengers - Amiga Super Street Fighter II : The New Challengers - Amiga
This is the Amiga version of Super Street Fighter II. It's got all the characters and moves, and supports the CD32 control pad, so you can use all six buttons. Unfortunately, when they converted the game, they made it widescreen, and the backgrounds look a bit poor (it was their first Amiga game conversion, other Amiga beat em ups looked much more impressive), but apart from the graphics (which aren't as bad as it seems) this game rocks! The gameplay is perfect, the animation is great and the music and sound effects are just like the arcade. The adjustable Turbo Speed and Super Mode make the game extremely fast and challenging.
Super Street Fighter II : The New Challengers - Super Nintendo Super Street Fighter II : The New Challengers - Super Nintendo
The Super Nintendo port of Super Street Fighter II is excellent. The gameplay is spot on, using the Super Nintendo's six button control pad. The graphics are great, with lots of animation, parallax and colours. The sprites and screen are a lot smaller than the arcade version though, with the characters about the same size as the Amiga version. There are lots of options for the gameplay, but of course the most fun is two-player mode. The sound effects are all there, with the voices and all, but the music is pretty poor, even a little bit annoying. Just like the Amiga version, the game opens with an intro animation of Ryu getting all fired up and hitting us with his trademark fireball attack. Overall though, this is a great version of Super Street Fighter II : The New Challengers, and a welcome change to the original Street Fighter II : The World Warrior which came with the Super Nintendo.
Super Street Fighter II : Turbo Revival - Game Boy Advance Super Street Fighter II : Turbo Revival - Game Boy Advance
The Game Boy Advance version of Super Street Fighter II is one of the latest versions released, and has a lot of added extras that the previous versions didn't have. For starters, there are a few new backgrounds in the various stages. The characters also have super combos now too, like in the Street Fighter Alpha games, which is pretty cool. There are also new character pictures. The gameplay is pretty good, although the Game Boy Advance's four buttons aren't really designed for games like this, but it's okay. The graphics are really nice. The tunes are okay, but the music quality isn't great. The sound effects are good though. This is the game I play most when I'm not at home.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 - Game Boy Advance Street Fighter Alpha 3 - Game Boy Advance
The Street Fighter Alpha games are based between Street Fighter and Street Fighter II. Street Fighter Alpha 3 is the final Alpha game in the series, and has over 30 characters to choose from! Cammy appears in this game as the 16 year old Killer Bee, brainwashed by Bison and used as an assassin. She has most of her usual moves, plus a few Super Combos, but she's wearing a different outfit. The graphics in this game are different from Street Fighter II, the animation is more fluid, but the sprites and backgrounds don't look as nice, a bit cartoony, and very small. But overall, this is a really fun game to play, and something a bit different to Street Fighter II.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 - Sony PlayStation Street Fighter Alpha 3 - Sony PlayStation
After only having played Street Fighter Alpha 3 at the arcade and on my Game Boy Advance, I finally got the PlayStation version. At first I wasn't sure how it would be, because I'd heard so much about how bad 2D games were on the PlayStation, but I was pleasantly surprised. This game looks, sounds and plays almost the same as the arcade, which is great, and the CD music is pretty funky. The only bad thing is the stupid PlayStation controller... the D-pad is so hard to use with these sorts of games, you really need a one-piece pad, not those four buttons. I want to get the upcoming Cammy PS2 controller, which is designed for playing the Street Fighter games, and has Cammy on it, then this game will rock. If only Bison wasn't so damn hard in this one.
Capcom VS SNK Pro - Sony PlayStation Capcom VS SNK Pro - Sony PlayStation
I've never seen this game in the arcade, so I can't compare it. In itself, it's a pretty different game from the previous Street Fighter games. As the title suggests, the game is about Capcom verses SNK, where we have a whole bunch of characters from the various Street Fighter games and the King of Fighters games. The game uses a four point system for choosing characters, so you can have four one-point fighters, two two-point fighters, or a three- and one-point fighter. Cammy is a one-point fighter, so her attacks barely hurt a three-point fighter, and in turn, she gets hurt a lot faster. This is a great party game, the two player game is much more fun. The graphics are 2D, but with a few PlayStation 3D, lighting and transparency effects thrown in. The sound effects are good, the voices are new, and the music is pretty cool, sort of remixes of previous themes in new styles. Capcom VS SNK Pro is a fun game, perfect for playing with some friends.
