Street Fighter Legends: Sakura #1 It's very exciting to see a new series about Sakura, an underrated character. I love the various little tributes that Omar Dogan, the artist, has incorporated in his drawings such as posters of Ryu, Fei Long and other characters on the wall of Sakura's bedroom! Don't blink or you'll miss all the cool stuff he's put in! It's also great to see Dan, yet another underrated character appear in this series too! He has such a great comedy role that gives the comic a wonderfully light-hearted tone. You've also gotta love the Internet dialogue between Ryu and Sakura. By the looks of it, poor Ryu can't keep up with Sakura! I even had a giggle at his screen name. Sakura has a wonderful innocent quality about her, and you can't help but find her really likable even if you're not a Sakura fan. I'm really impressed with the fantastic job Omar Dogan has done with this comic. It looks as if he put his heart and soul into not only pencilling but inking and colouring it! His work really shines through in this story. There's one page in particular with Dan and Sakura in it where the panels look really creatively done. The expressions are hilarious, it just makes you want to laugh out loud at them. There's two cover artworks to get, the one shown at the side of this review is done by Omar Dogan which gives you a glimpse at how awesome his art is and the other cover is by Alvin Lee. I simply love the covers, it shows how dynamic and cool Sakura is.
