Street Fighter II #02
When I read this issue, I felt some of the character development seemed a bit different. However, the relationship between Chun-Li and Master Gen felt very real and powerfully emotional. Dhalsim talks just like I always imagined him to. Perhaps what the comic was lacking was the diversity of characters.

Alvin Lee's manga inspired artwork continues to impress. It's very well drawn with a style that suits Street Fighter.

Lee has done a fantastic job of the Cover A artwork. It has all the main Street Fighter characters on it that appear in the comic as well as a few others. Dhalsim takes up most of the space because he's an important character in this issue. Ryu looks just the way he should, all determined and ready to fight.

The inker, M3TH, did a nice job of bringing Alvin Lee's pencils to life. The transformation is splendid and well done. I love Espen Grundetjern's job on the colouring in the comic. Beautiful, bold and rich colours are used to emphasise a fight scene or emotion. He carefully complements the penciller's manga style with a mixture of realistic looking colours and comic style shading. Cyber Graphix did a splendid job of the lettering. I particularly love the use of colors.

The story, by Ken Siu-Chong, is excellent as always. The issue continues on with Ryu and Sagat facing off! Dhalsim is in it as well, as Sagat's new mentor. Cammy, Chun-Li and T. Hawk also appear in the comic too. I love the direction of Cammy's character now, she seems to be taking on a more investigative role on her own now, rather than fighting with Delta Red, but I would love to see her in action!
