Cammy's Background This is a storyline of Cammy from the Udon Street Fighter comics. As there are several versions of Cammy's background with different details, I recommend reading both the Cammy Graphic Novel and the Udon Comics Street Fighter comics. There are reviews of both in the Reviews section. Don't read this if you don't want to be spoiled about Cammy's background story. Cammy was working for Shadaloo as an assassin known as a Doll Agent and had the code name of "Killerbee". Cammy was found by Rose who had sensed the potential within her to be more than just a mindless, brainwashed Shadaloo agent. While doing surveillance work on her "designated target" Ryu, she came across Rose who freed her from the brainwashing and gave her a new name - Cammy White. Awakening to find only a note with her new name on it, and no memory of who she is, she sees she is right outside the British Embassy. Fortunately for her, terrorists attacked the Embassy that same day, and "something clicked" in Cammy and she fought them all. Delta Red (MI6) was so impressed with her, they hired her! On a mission, Cammy comes across a Shadaloo agent who seems to know who she is. Deeply disturbed by this, as she still has no memory of her past self, Shadaloo or otherwise, she captures and interrogates the captive agent. Before she does this though, she searches through things found on the agent in order to try and trigger some supressed memories. She discovers gauntlets (her gloves) and realises they feel familiar... so she puts them on. While interviewing the Shadaloo agent, she pretends to be one of them working undercover to ensure the co-operation of the agent, and the agent gives her information on an experimental weapon! Unfortunately, the agent managed to escape the base. However, they gained the help of Interpol with Chun-Li joining their fight against Shadaloo. When Chun-Li arrived to help in their investigation, she recognises Cammy as the killer of her father. Instantly angry, she fights Cammy, but poor Cammy is bewildered over her behaviour. Eventually, Chun-Li ceases fighting because she seems a glimmer of humanity in Cammy's eyes and knows that she is not the same person who killed her father. She realises that she was just brainwashed by Bison and therefore a victim to be pitied. {Charlie tells Guile and Chun-Li about Chun-Li's father's last moments. He was killed by an agent of Shadaloo whose name was "Killerbee". Cammy killed Chun-Li's father. Chun-Li knows who she is because a few days earlier before he died, when they took her father away and Chun-Li witnessed this. Killerbee was ordered to fight Chun-Li, and then she took off.} Colonel Wolfman and Cammy go on a mission to prevent Shadaloo from developing their powerful weapon. They were accosted by Shadaloo agents who tranquilised Cammy and kidnapped her. She awakens to find herself in a Shadaloo base surrounded by sleeping doll agents. Memories start to surface again and fortunately, before she is memory wiped, Delta Red saves her. While escaping, they all fight various people who are trying to stop them escaping. Cammy fights a Doll Agent wearing a mask, and kicks her mask off only to discover she's looking at herself! It seems that she's a clone and not the first one either. Cammy and Chun-Li reconcile things when Cammy visits Chun-Li's father's grave. She wants to start making amends for her past deeds. She also wants to find ou more about her past with Delta Red's help. Cammy in her green outfit is the "Delta Red" Cammy, while the blue outfit was when she was working for Shadaloo so when she's wearing the blue outfit, she's known as "Shadaloo" Cammy. Cammy's an energetic, enthusiastic fighter and she enjoys paying out people. She has no family because she cannot remember them. So Cammy spends a lot of her time trying to find her family and making her friends her 'fill-in' family. What Cammy looks like Different Versions of Cammy There are a few different versions of Cammy from different games. There's the Shadaloo Cammy where she's 16 years old and works for Bison as a Shadaloo assassin or "Doll Agent". Her first appearance is in the Street Fighter Alpha games. Later on, there's Delta Red Cammy (which was the very first Cammy ever) as an older Cammy, about 19 years old. Since there have been lots of different Street Fighter games, there's been different versions of Cammy and her background. There's ARSF Cammy as well, where she's wearing her Delta Red outfit but she can rollerblade! She's 21 in this game - Cannon Spike or GunSpike as it's known in Japan. Also, Cammy wears different coloured Delta Red outfits in the game, pink, blue, and orange. There have been a few cosplayers with those variant colours as well as figures and figurines.
